My first host: Freeservers. The page wasn't even called evanescence gifs, it had my nick on it and .8k . I used a default template and I made a banner for it. I had to go through internet archives, really old CD's and stuff to gather the oldest pieces of the designs, but because it was a template, I forgot wich colors I used for the menu and the rest. I think it was like ocher and dark green or something.
Theme: Anywhere but home. The first image we saw from the DVD. Good times (:
Good Lord, I sucked at photoshop.

First official version! Really simple html. I changed to geocities (they put extremely little ads that magically dissappeared in time.)The background is a piece of a watercolor painting I did that same year.

Still with the Anywhere but Home fever. The font was just created and I loved it so much, I didn't use anything else xD.
For this version, I finally called my page Evanescence Gifs (so original).

Getting braver with photoshop I guess. This design was realy dark. I don't really know if people could se anything on their screens, lol.

Again with the completely black background and very simple html. But I still love what I did with the tree branches so much!!

My first "serious" design!. I was so proud! And I still love this one very very much, specially the colors!.

This one was kind of boring actually. There was a period of serious lack of inspiration. I had the design ready on the computer, and I left it there for months because it didn't convince me. Then, The Open Door era began, and I had no time to make a new one, so I used this. It was ok I guess.
I also started to use the .es.mn service. It actually still works, but they placed ads, grrrr.

This one is probably my favourite, mainly because it's clear, organized and comfortable. I used divs (yay xD), I did a lot of updates... yeah. I liked it, but something wasn't right, so I needed a change.

For this version, I changed to my actual host, byethost (try it, it's awesome!). This was a transition phase I guess. I never really used a lot of images, so this time I wanted a big banner, a lot of images, a more complicated CSS, more more more!!. "More" never works! When will I ever learn?! I also had my screen badly calibrated so I didn't see that a lot of colors didn't match and there were black spots in some places that annoyed me so much! There were so many mistakes in this layout I ended up hating it. And at first I thought it was my best... ha!
The good part was that it was the first time I used cutenews! So the updates were SO MUCH MORE comfortable. Also, I placed the gifs on iframes. SO much better, much more organized and it doesn't take THAT long to load the page.
